The brief

A charity site that does justice to twenty-five years of work.

The SAECO Calgary Website was designed to offer The Southern Alberta Electronics Charity Organization (SAECO) a cutting-edge platform to better connect with supporters and communicate their core values. The website allows SAECO to clearly share its mission and the impact of its initiatives. Originally established in 1996, SAECO has partnered with the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation since 1998. Over the past 22 years, this partnership has helped SAECO raise over $550,000 through various fundraising events aimed at supporting children’s health.

The new website enhances the organization’s ability to engage with its audience. It provides a seamless user experience that allows supporters to easily find information about upcoming events, donate, or learn about the charity’s goals. By improving navigation and accessibility, the platform increases SAECO’s visibility within the community. As a result, it helps them gain more consistent support from donors and volunteers alike.

What we built

Events, donations, and the mission in plain view.

One of the primary goals of the website is to simplify communication between the charity and its supporters. The platform includes features such as event calendars, donation pages, and detailed information about the organization’s mission. This functionality empowers the charity to keep its audience informed while also encouraging continuous engagement.

To create a robust and efficient platform, we used a combination of PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. These technologies ensure that the SAECO Calgary Website is responsive, mobile-friendly, and secure, allowing it to handle a growing volume of visitors without performance issues.
