Someone competent will look at it and tell you what is actually wrong.
You already paid for this once. You went live, or half went live. The invoices come out but the numbers do not tie. Someone built customisations nobody can explain, and every fix costs more than the last.
We run a fixed-scope Odoo Health Check on your live system and give you a written findings report: what is a settings problem, what is a data problem, and what is genuinely code. It is yours whether or not you hire us to do the fixing.
Tell us what is not working and we will come back with what the Health Check would cover and what it costs. No obligation to book anything.
Rather just talk
Thirty minutes, no prep needed. Bring what is not working and we will tell you on the call whether it sounds like a settings problem, a data problem or a code problem, and what a Health Check would cover on your system.
Start where you are
All three search the same words and all three are a different job. Pick the one that matches and the conversation starts there instead of at the beginning.
You paid a partner, you went live partially or not at all, and it has been limping for months. You need someone to finish it or tell you honestly what finishing means.
Get it looked at → The inherited systemYou are new in the role. Odoo was here before you, there is no documentation, and the people who built it are gone. You need to understand what you have.
Get it looked at → The one who championed itYou pushed for Odoo. It is not delivering what you promised the room it would. You need it fixed without burning the budget you have left.
Get it looked at →What you actually get
It is almost never the software. Most Odoo systems that feel broken were configured to a demo rather than to how you actually receive, cost and sell, and that is a setting, not a rebuild. The Health Check separates the three so you can see what is cheap to fix and what is not.
The behaviour you want is already in Odoo and it is switched off, switched on wrong, or pointed at the wrong account. Usually the largest pile, and the cheapest one.
Inventory valuation, trial balance, tax mapping and open balances. We show you where the numbers came from and what it takes to bring them back in line, not just that they are wrong.
Custom and third-party modules, what each one overrides, and what breaks if it is removed. This is the part nobody has ever written down for you.
You get that split in writing, ranked by what is costing you money now, with an honest cost against each item and a fixed-fee quote for the remediation you choose to do. If the honest answer is that something is not worth fixing, the report says that too.
Before you ask
You have paid for advice before and it did not go well. So here is what is off the table before you tell us anything.
That is the easy quote and it is usually wrong. Rebuilding is the last option here, not the first.
The Health Check is fixed scope. Remediation is quoted per item, so you choose what is worth fixing and what is not.
Sometimes the answer is that Odoo Community does not do that, or that your edition or hosting is the constraint. You will hear it plainly instead of being quoted to work around it.
Plenty of people want a second opinion before they decide anything. The findings are yours to use however you want, including with your current partner.
How it runs
Not a sales call with a rebuild quote at the end. A findings report that tells you what is wrong, what it costs to fix, and what you can safely ignore.
Your live database, or a copy of it. We go through what is installed, what has been modified, and what is switched on that should not be.
Every custom and third-party module, what it overrides, and what depends on it. This is the part nobody has ever written down for you.
Inventory valuation, trial balance, tax handling and open balances. If the books are wrong we show you where and why.
Findings split into settings fixes, data fixes and genuine development, with an honest cost against each.
A findings document in plain English, ranked by what is costing you money now. It is yours whether or not you hire us to do the fixing.
If you want us to do the work, we fix the money-losing items first and document as we go, so the next person is not where you are now.
You know what the audit costs before it starts, and you know what each fix costs before that starts. There is no hourly meter running in the background.
Who you would be working with
Independently collected, not testimonials we picked ourselves.
Listed in Odoo’s own partner directory, working in their release cycle rather than around it.
The people who read your database are the people who fix it. Calgary, working across Canada and the US, so you are in the same time zone as whoever picks up.
The things people ask us first
Almost never. Most Odoo systems that feel broken are configured wrong, not built wrong. The Health Check separates settings problems from data problems from genuine code problems, and you see the split before anyone quotes you for a rebuild.
Yes. Inventorying undocumented custom modules is part of the Health Check. We read what is installed, what it overrides, and what breaks if it is removed, then write it down so you own that knowledge instead of renting it.
No. A second opinion is a perfectly normal reason to call. The Health Check is a standalone deliverable and what you do with it is your call.
Typically one to two weeks depending on how many modules are live and how much custom work exists. You get a written findings document, not a verbal summary on a call.
All of them. Where a problem is caused by an edition or hosting limit rather than a configuration mistake, we tell you that instead of quoting you to work around it.
Yes, and it is one of the more common findings. Fiscal positions, tax mapping and the chart of accounts get treated as checkboxes during a rushed implementation, and they are the part that quietly ruins the books for a year before anyone notices.
No. We work with clients across Canada and the United States. Being Calgary-based means the same time zone as most of the country and no overnight handoff to an offshore team.
Odoo services, Calgary and beyond
Calibre is a Calgary Odoo Ready Partner. A broken build is often how people find us, and it is rarely the only thing they need once the system is behaving.
Where we work. We are based at 1925 18 Ave NE in Calgary and work on site across the Calgary region, including Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere and Strathmore. Elsewhere in Alberta, including Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, and across the rest of Canada and the United States, the Health Check runs remotely. The work is the same either way, since we are reading your database rather than standing in your office.
Tell us what is not working and what you have already spent. We will tell you honestly whether it is a settings problem, a data problem or a code problem before you spend anything else.
It takes about two minutes.
