Odoo Partner · Calgary

Do you want your whole business running in one system?

An in-house Calgary team since 2014. Odoo Partner since 2024.

Most Odoo projects do not fail on the software. They fail on scope. Nobody writes down what is being built, so it moves every week and the invoice moves with it.

We start by putting it in writing. Which workflows, in what order, what each one costs, and what we are not doing. You keep that document either way.

Get your build scoped in writing.

Tell us how the business runs today and we will come back with which workflows to build, in what order, and what it costs. No obligation to book anything.

One business day, from the person who would run the build. Or pick a time on the calendar below.

Rather just talk

Pick a time and we will scope it on the call.

Thirty minutes, no prep needed. Bring how the business actually runs today and we will tell you which parts of Odoo fit, which do not, and what the build would take. If Odoo is the wrong tool for you, we will say so on that call rather than three months in.

Start here

Which one of these is you?

All four search the same words and all four are a different job. Pick the one that matches and the conversation starts there instead of at the beginning.

Before you tell us anything

What we will not do.

If you have hired for this before, you are reading for the catch. So here is what is off the table, in writing, before you spend a minute explaining your business.

We will not quote open-ended hours.

Every phase gets a fixed scope and a fixed number before it starts. If the scope changes, that is a new number you approve, not a surprise on an invoice.

We will not disappear after the sale.

The person who scopes your build is the person who builds it. There is no handoff to an account manager, and nothing is sent offshore.

We will not build what you can configure.

Custom code is the last resort, not the first invoice. Most of what firms bill as development is a setting somebody did not know about.

We will not tell you Odoo fits when it does not.

Some businesses should stay where they are. You will hear that on the first call, which costs you thirty minutes instead of a year.

Before you commit

You see what gets built, and what it costs, first.

Every Odoo project that went badly went badly here: nobody wrote down what was being built, so the scope moved every week and the invoice moved with it. This is what we send after the first call. It is yours whether or not you hire us.

What we need from you first: what you sell and how an order reaches you, what runs the money today, the job that eats the most hours, and anything a previous system left behind. You do not need a requirements document. That is what this is.

Most firms send a proposal, which is a number with adjectives around it. This names the work, the order, and the exclusions, and it is the only way you can tell in advance whether the person quoting understood what you said. If ours does not make sense to you, do not hire us.

Who you are hiring

A Calgary studio that runs Odoo for a living.

Calibre has built software in-house in Calgary since 2014, and has been a certified Odoo Partner since 2024. Kuljeet Nagra, Founder & Owner, has worked in IT since 1996 and takes the first call himself.

On the tiers, since it comes up: Odoo ranks partners Ready, Silver and Gold, and the tier reflects how much Odoo licensing a firm resold in the past year. It is a sales number. It says nothing about whether the person doing your build has done it before.

A regional appliance retailer

Moved off a legacy ERP onto Odoo. We migrated customers, suppliers, products, inventory and accounting records, trained the team, and ran the go-live.

A home furnishings retailer

We implemented Odoo, organised the product catalogue, and set the system up as the central platform for products and day-to-day operations.

Questions

Answered plainly.

What does an Odoo build actually cost?

It depends on how many workflows you need and how much of your data has to come across. You get a fixed number per phase before that phase starts, and the scoping document tells you the whole shape before you commit to any of it.

How long does it take?

Longer than a demo suggests and shorter than an enterprise rollout. We will give you a real range on the first call once we know how many workflows are in play. We are not going to put a number here that we would have to walk back.

Do we have to move everything at once?

No, and you should not. We build the workflow that is costing you the most time first, get it running, then take the next one. Big-bang go-lives are how projects end up half-finished.

What happens to our existing data?

Moving your real records is its own phase, scoped and priced separately, because it is the part that goes wrong quietly. What you see before you commit runs on sample data we build to look like your business.

Who actually does the work?

Our own team, in Calgary. Nothing is subcontracted offshore, and the person who scopes your build is the person who builds it.

We are not in Alberta. Does that matter?

No. We work with businesses across Canada and the United States. Being in Calgary means you can meet us if you want to, and that you are talking to someone in your own time zone rather than emailing into a queue overnight.
