What does an Odoo partner do?
Odoo sells the licence. A partner scopes your processes, configures the apps, moves your data, connects your other systems, trains your team and supports you after go-live. Calibre is an Odoo Ready Partner listed in Odoo's partner directory.
What is the proof of concept?
You tell us the process that slows the business down, and within 5 business days we show it working in Odoo, set up for your business, before you commit to an implementation.
What does an Odoo build cost?
It depends on how many workflows you need and how much data has to come across. You get a fixed fee for each phase before that phase starts. Odoo's published licence prices are on what Odoo costs in Canada.
How long does Odoo implementation take?
Two to four weeks for one or two apps with no data to move. Six to twelve weeks for three to five apps and a QuickBooks migration. Twelve to twenty-four weeks with custom modules and complex integrations.
Do we have to move everything at once?
No. We build the workflow costing you the most time first, get it running, then take the next one.
What happens to our existing data?
Customers, products, open orders and balances come across and are reconciled before cut-over. Years of old transactions usually stay in the old system for reference.
Should we use Odoo's Success Pack or a partner?
Success Packs are prepaid hours with Odoo's own consultants, delivered remotely. They suit simple, standard set-ups. For data migration, integrations and workflows specific to your business, a partner gives you a fixed scope and a named team after go-live.
Are you an Odoo Ready, Silver or Gold partner?
Calibre is an Odoo Ready Partner. Odoo sets each tier by three numbers: new Odoo Enterprise users sold per year (10 for Ready, 75 for Silver, 300 for Gold), certified internal consultants (1, 3 and 6) and, for Silver and Gold, customer retention (70% and 80%). A tier does not by itself show fit for a particular project, so also check named in-house delivery, the partner's references in Odoo's directory and public reviews.
Who actually does the work?
Our own team, in Calgary. Nothing is subcontracted offshore, and the person who scopes your build is the person who builds it.
Do you work with Edmonton businesses?
